The Grade II listed Georgian building has 28 bedrooms and we’ve recently refurbished it to create a beautiful restaurant with views, a new bar and terrace. Think cosy corners, log fires and sumptuous interiors.
It’s only when you step inside that you begin to understand what Banchory Lodge is all about. We’ve teamed up with Scottish designers to create something rather special in Royal Deeside. You’ll find contemporary chic and quirky design mixed together. It’s a relaxing place where you’re encouraged to put your feet up. After all, isn’t that what furniture is really for?
Our food is all about using local, seasonal produce. Whether you choose to dine in our restaurant or bar, it’s all about proving that good food doesn’t have to be fussy.

As long as you don’t spend too long staring out of the windows at our stunning view, we have two options at Banchory Lodge to inspire you and make sure you get the most out of your day
The Dee Room:
This gorgeous room with its own log fire and views out to the river can be used as a delegate room or a breakout room. It can hold up to 10 people in a boardroom style and also makes an ideal venue for a small gathering for lunch.

Banchory Lodge is the perfect romantic wedding venue in Royal Deeside. We can cater for civil ceremonies and civil partnerships in our beautiful function suite overlooking the River Dee. A door leads from the suite out onto our beautifully manicured lawns right by the river and provides the ideal setting for drinks and photographs. Perfect for up to 120 guests.
With 28 en-suite bedrooms, all individually styled, we provide a specially discounted rate for all guests that wish to stay and enjoy the wedding. Included in our wedding packages is a complimentary Bridal Suite as well as preferential rates for you before and after your wedding day.

A little secret…
What you might not know about Banchory Lodge is that we have a gorgeous 6 bedroomed house only metres from the main hotel. Cobbleheugh has its own lounge and dining room with stunning views of the river.
It’s perfect for the main wedding party, especially if you want to dine privately with family and friends the night before the wedding. Brides also love it for its intimacy on the actual wedding day as you can get ready in the privacy of Cobbleheugh. The day after the wedding you might want to start life as Mr and Mrs with a Wedding Breakfast for 12 around the dining table. There are lots of options so please ask for a showround because we know you will love it.
