With a central location in the heart of Glasgow City Centre, and only 15 minutes from Glasgow International Airport, Thistle Glasgow is a popular choice for both business visitors and leisure travellers alike. You really are in the heart of the city and you will find this luxury Glasgow hotel is the ideal base from which to explore the historic, sporting and leisure attractions of a former European Capital of Culture.
We have 300 bedrooms and 18 meeting rooms, the largest seating up to 1,500 guests. We also have 220 on-site car parking spaces, which are available at a minimal additional charge.
Our bar, serving local food and drink, is the place to relax after a hard day at work or an equally tiring day’s shopping. Alternatively you can recharge your batteries at our Otium Health & Leisure Club with a swim in our pool or a massage at our Spa.

Your choice of wedding venue is a huge decision. At Thistle Glasgow, we provide a completely bespoke wedding service, in which every aspect of your day, from the room layout to the wine list, food to flower arrangements, is yours to choose.
At Thistle Glasgow, we have nine air-conditioned function rooms, all of which can be arranged and configured to suit your exact requirements. The largest is the Grand Ballroom, a huge and magnificent room, recently refurbished at a cost of over £1 million. As a single space, it can hold as many as 1,500 guests; if your guest-list isn’t quite that long, the Grand Ballroom can be divided into three smaller suites.
The Imperial can seat up to 380 guests, while the Cambridge and Lord Provost both have space for parties of up to 280. Our medium-sized Robert Burns and California Suites can be hired as single spaces, or divided in three for smaller gatherings.
For private celebrations with a few close friends and family, the Alloway, Clarinda and Ellisland rooms all seat up to 40 guests.
