CONFERENCES&EVENTS

Facilities at Ayr Racecourse and Western House Hotel make it the biggest conference centre in Scotland outside a major city.

The Princess Royal Conference, Banqueting & Exhibition Centre offers 11 suites situated over four floors.The largest Suite can cater for up to 1000 delegates theatre style or 800 for a Banquet.

Each suite is well equipped with high quality, state of the art sound, light and audiovisual system.

Large plasma screens situated around each room allow delegates a 'bird's eye view' of the proceedings interfacing with PowerPoint for presentations or company advertising or through the 'in house' conference cameras in the larger suites.

Whether your event is for 1000 delegates for a conference or 10 for your annual board meeting our dedicated staff are committed and will work with you to achieve the maximum from your event.

WEDDINGS

For those who wish a larger wedding - catering for up to 700 guests - we have the perfect venues within the Princess Royal Events Centre.

The Ayrshire Suite on the ground floor of the Centre is a fantastic venue with lots of room for up to 700 guests to enjoy themselves while the first floor of the Princess Royal Stand can accommodate 600 guests and offers panoramic views across Ayr Racecourse, the premier racecourse in Scotland.

There are also smaller facilities within the Centre including the well appointed Roman Warrior which can seat up to 180 guests and again features great views across the course.

Several smaller rooms are also available for more intimate wedding gatherings and the entire Centre is licensed for civil and religious ceremonies which can include a wedding with a difference with the nuptials in the Paddock or Winners Enclosure.
