Dundee Heritage Trust and its operating company Dundee Industrial Heritage Limited are both registered charities formed in 1985 to preserve and interpret Dundee’s industrial past. The Trust sprang from a small dedicated band of local people concerned that unless action was taken important aspects of the city’s history would be lost forever. Trustees are drawn from a diverse range of community and business interests in Dundee and Tayside.

As well as the internationally significant Royal Research Ship Discovery, Dundee Heritage Trust has responsibility for Discovery Point Antarctic Museum plus Scotland’s Jute Museum @ Verdant Works, one of the nation’s most important textile museums. Both sites are Accredited museums, 5 star rated attractions with VisitScotland and have won numerous awards.

Falcon Scott Suite

This is our largest function room, and is suitable for many uses: from weddings and parties to business meetings and lectures. This flexible room can be set up any way you like and can be decorated to suit any event. The large glass wall gives you a stunning view of RRS Discovery and the V&A site and over the river. Come in early enough and you can see the most stunning sunrise over the Tay road bridge.

Terra Nova Room

This room is a small space most suitable for board meetings up to 15 people. It is also used as an extension to the larger Falcon Scott Suite. With great views over the V&A site and the river, this stunning riverside location is an inspiration to your guests.

Education Suite

Another flexible space, this room is mostly used as a board room or lecture theatre. Facing directly towards the city centre and the V&A museum, the glass wall gives you a great view. There is also a balcony outside the room which is accessed directly from the room.
