Durn House is fully licensed as a venue for civil, humanist or religious ceremonies. Sleeping up to 14 guests in 6 luxury suites, seating up to 50 for a meal in the Grand Hall, and with the perfect country garden setting for a marquee, we are equipped for celebrations from 2-120 people.

Exclusive use option – Durn House is a Georgian Country House with 6 luxury, individually designed guest bedrooms, each with a dedicated bathroom or ensuite. Exclusive use hire includes all the gorgeous guest accommodation, with a luxury breakfast the morning after your wedding for you, your friends and family, AND also the use of the large beautiful garden and patio area, great Hall, Drawing Room, Dining Room, Ogilvie Bar (complimentary paid bar by arrangement), Gentleman’s Club/Games Room and the Clementina Spa and Beauty Room (beauty and relaxation therapies by arrangement)
Beautiful food – if food that looks and tastes amazing is important to you, and you want to know your wedding meal has been freshly cooked from local, seasonal ingredients, Durn House is the venue for you!
Ogilvie Bar – for weddings and events, combine a drinks package of fantastic fizz and delicious food-paired wines (or corkage on your own) with a selection of local craft beers and whiskies behind the bar, with charming and experiences bar men. You can even choose to serve the best cocktails in Aberdeenshire, with fresh and homemade ingredients, and non-alcholic cocktails as well. Delicious!

We offer a tailored and individual service for events large and small. For sit-down meals, up to 50 may be seated in the Great Hall and greater numbers can be accommodated for a champagne and canapés event, or if a marquee is erected on the grounds.
