Library - The Library The Library is located above the Duke of Wellington Hall on the second floor; access to this room is via an exquisite stone and marble staircase. Semi-circular in shape, the Library benefits from plenty of natural lighting, floor to ceiling book shelves overflowing with precious books and a gallery which runs around the upper floor. It is an ideal and unique setting for many types of events - from roundtable discussions to elegant dinners and cocktail receptions. The Library can be hired on its own or as a suite with the Reading Room. About the Venue
Sixty One Whitehall sits on the very site of what was Henry VIII’s private bed chamber in the Tudor wing of old Whitehall Palace and adjoins the Banqueting House, the only part of the Palace to escape destruction by the London fire of 1698.
This beautiful Victorian grade II listed building features unique design and room layout flexibility.
