Home House represents a truly unique experience in the concept of private members clubs. All that you would expect in terms of luxury, service and privacy are the Club’s cherished hallmarks.

Located across three Georgian town houses at 19, 20 and 21 Portman Square, Home House Private Member’s Club offers its affiliates the dramatic fusion of the old and the new. Designed by James Wyatt in 1773 with Robert Adam interiors, the elegance and grandeur of the Club is perfectly juxtaposed with cutting-edge minimalist interiors at ‘21’ with an edgy bar and reception area, designed by internationally renowned architect, Zaha Hadid and finished in sumptuous detail by the celebrated Candy & Candy team.

Home House is unique, bringing together people from all cultures in a vibrant melting pot, where members come to the House to meet friends, do business and relax. The House offers members a community; a hub from which to base both their social and professional lives.

PRIVATE HIRE

February 2011 saw the return of Edward Bulmer (the original architectural historian, conservationist and interior designer who oversaw the House’s original restoration) to Home House to restore our beautiful 18th Century private rooms to their former, most resplendent glory. Having soaked up extensive amounts of skilled craftsmanship time and loving TLC, they are now open for hire once again.

Home House Private Members Club can cater for events from as small a group as 5, right through to 250. We have in the past hosted a whole variety of amazing events; including birthdays, weddings, press days, conferences, breakfast meetings, corporate dinners and drinks receptions, award ceremonies, music showcases, fashion shows…..the list is endless!

By day, light floods in through tall windows, playing over the rich patina of parquet flooring. By night, sumptuous velvet drapery seems to glow with the light from a grand chandelier. Each of our private event spaces has been lovingly restored and updated in such a way as to bring out its unique character. Everywhere you look, the airy elegance of the architecture sets the mood, be it for entertaining, meetings or presentations.
