The Court Room is one of London's finest original Rococo interiors and provides an ideal setting for intimate dinners or reception drinks, while the larger Picture Gallery can accommodate dinner for up to 100 guests. Both are licensed for wedding ceremonies and can provide a stunning backdrop for exchanging vows.

The Court Room, one of London’s finest original Rococo interiors, provides an ideal setting for intimate dinners. A re-creation of the original Foundling Hospital Court Room used for entertaining important guests, the room contains many fine examples of British art and design with paintings by Thomas Gainsborough and William Hogarth, alongside a striking 18th-century marble chimneypiece. The stunning Persian carpet enhances the Collection and tall windows open out onto Brunswick Square. Up to 40 can be seated, with a maximum of 20 on a single table. Alternatively this space provides the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks.

Located next to the Court Room is the grand Picture Gallery, available for larger events. Large-scale paintings by the most celebrated 18th-century portraitists, once displayed in the original Foundling Hospital, provide a powerful backdrop for events. Guests can dine alongside Hogarth’s magnificent painting of the Hospital’s founder, Thomas Coram.

The Foundling Museum’s Creative Studio is the ideal space to host your meeting, team away day, seminar, training event and more. Situated in the heart of Bloomsbury, the Museum is conveniently located for private hire near King’s Cross St Pancras International and Euston stations.
Our London conference venue and meeting room comes supplied with in-house AV equipment. We have a range of day delegate rate packages, including a breakfast, day and half-day rate, which offer excellent value for money. All packages include: a projector and screen; free WiFi internet access; tea & coffee; event management; complimentary Museum access for all delegates. Dry hire is also available. Delegate rates are based on a minimum of 15 people and are + vat.
