The Glen-Yr-Afon House Hotel opened its doors in March 1974. Since then we have welcomed many thousands of satisfied customers who have visited for conferences, parties, weddings (ceremonies and receptions), dinner parties, afternoon tea, Sunday lunch, birthday celebrations, accommodation or just a quiet drink in the bar!

The owners are hands-on in the Hotel ensuring the very high standards for which the Hotel has been renowned, since its opening in 1974, are consistently maintained. The grounds are immaculately tended and offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.

For wedding ceremonies, couples can choose to hold their wedding ceremony in one of our two licensed rooms – both being full of character and warmth. The library is the perfect choice for smaller wedding ceremonies with the light and airy Ballroom being able to accommodate ceremonies up to 150.

Our large elegant ballroom has a seating capacity of up to 150 guests for wedding receptions. This room is used for a variety of functions such as wedding breakfasts, wedding receptions, conferences, Christmas parties and birthday or private parties.
The Ballroom is ideal as a larger conference venue , it is fully air conditioned, and has 12 foot ceilings with nine windows offering plenty of daylight. It accommodates:
