Welcome to 5* Plas Dinas Country House, an award-winning historic property set in Snowdonia, North Wales. Formerly the home of Lord Snowdon and Princess Margaret, we offer you eleven individually styled bedrooms with five star comforts in historic yet relaxed surroundings in beautiful grounds as well as a charming, two bedroom self-catering cottage. This venue specialises in foodie, intimate weddings in the beautiful setting of the historic house.
Nestled between the Snowdonia mountains and the Irish Sea, the idyllic setting and stunning views are not to be missed. Whether you take a stroll round our 15 acres in the summer or sit by the roaring log fire in the Drawing room on a cold winter's day, you'll relax the minute you arrive.
Plas Dinas boasts a wedding specialist that is on hand to create your very own bespoke wedding package. Suitable for smaller, intimate weddings throughout the year and large marquee weddings May - September. Plas Dinas is an exclusive use, luxury wedding venue and only cater for a small number of weddings a year. You have full contact with your specialist throughout the planning stages. We really care about making your big day special.
We can comfortably cater for a maximum of 50 guests (including the happy couple) in the main house and up to 160 day and 200 evening guests in a marquee located on the lawns.
You don't have to live in the area to hold your civil partnership or wedding in Caernarfon, North Wales. It's the ideal excuse to make the celebration last all weekend and to spend more time with your loved ones. Having exclusive use of the house gives you complete freedom and privacy.
