Steeped in history, our country manor hotel lies in the foothills of the Garw valley originally belonging to Margam abbey until the dissolution, before becoming a private residence, passing through several hands until in 1981 it became a hotel.

In 1999, the late Vijay Bhagotra bought his dream hotel. Having worked his whole life in the hospitality trade he felt the time was right to bring this then neglected building back to its former glory, in his own inimitable style. Today his wife and son, Sanjeev and their team are carrying his dream forwards. The foundations and his vision are still present for all our guests to enjoy to this day.

Whether planning a large or small wedding and reception, something simple, extravagant or even a bit out of the ordinary, our experience and personal attention will ensure that yours is a perfect day.

We have a choice of reception suites that can cater for 20 to 180 wedding guests. Our fine menu selection has many options from a light finger buffet to a gastronomic banquet or a sumtuous wedding breakfast. If you have any specific ideas or would like your cuisine in keeping with the style of your wedding, come and meet our wedding coordinator who will help you create your own special menu.
