Croham Hurst Golf Club is a friendly and welcoming club that was founded in 1911. The 18 hole, par 71, parkland course was designed by Fred Hawtree and five times Open Champion, James Braid. Whether on the course or in the clubhouse, there is a sense of history, and a wonderfully warm sensation of being completely at home. It is a very special corner of Surrey, close to London and Croydon, boasting the outstanding natural beauty that once adorned most of the county.

A GOOD WALK
From the South-facing clubhouse terrace, the course extends up the valley in a series of gently undulating loops. Every hole enjoys a private world of its own with the lush, springy fairways fringed by silver birch, beech and ancient oak.

The course is an easy and enjoyable walk, and is seldom deemed unplayable even in the harshest conditions.

GOOD FRIENDS
The membership is delightful and diverse but sharing an immense pride in their golf course and a tremendous groundswell of enthusiasm and commitment to the club.

These qualities are embraced wholeheartedly by all members of staff from the restaurant and bars to the academy and PGA coaching team, and the boys and girls in the office and out on the course.

Celebrate your wedding, birthday or special occasion at Croham Hurst Golf Club
Our clubhouse facilities are available for private functions and weddings. Just 2 miles from central Croydon and 12 miles from London, the clubhouse is conveniently located. Dine on a fine selection of menus from our high quality Chef or dance the night away in the lounge bar. We can accommodate 100 for fine dining, 120 for a buffet, and up to 160 for a party.

There is also a patio area overlooking the course with tables and chairs, which may be used for photographs. Children are most welcome, but we ask that they are kept under adult supervision at all times.

There is also a small Committee Room available for hire which is suitable for small groups, seating 12 for private dining or 16 for business meetings.
