Easy Gourmet and the Tab Centre
During Easy Gourmet’s 14 years as a wedding caterer and planner, we have developed close relationships with several venues – but none more so than the Tab Centre. We are proud to have catered and planned for a number of weddings at this unique and atmospheric place.

Easy Gourmet has helped celebrate so many special days at the Tab Centre. It is our mission to listen to your ideas and turn them into reality. As part of that process, we’ll invite you in to taste the food and wine, design your ideal menu, discuss the styling for your reception, and, of course, view the venue.

The Tab Centre as the perfect wedding venue
The Tab Centre is a historic building situated in the heart of London’s fashionable Shoreditch, on the edge of the Square Mile. Its ivory-coloured grand hall is graced with elegant pilasters and a wrought-iron ballustraded gallery. There’s also the Richard Pearson room for smaller functions, as well as a garden for summer events, and all the facilities you might require (from private car parking to wheelchair access).

Help good causes too !
Hiring the Tab Centre for your wedding will also help good causes, as all the venue’s profits go to local charities. Current projects funded by the centre include a drop-in canteen for the homeless, a cook school for disadvantaged children and a scheme that provides support for ex-offenders and people with HIV getting back into work.

We are passionate about food, and our company is run by an equally passionate Frenchwoman, Marie-Laure, who previously worked in some of the most famous restaurants in France and Britain.

She will personally consult with you to design the wedding of your dreams – from canapés to buffets to dinner menus and the choice of wines. Easy Gourmet’s cuisine takes inspiration from the seasons and combines the very best British produce with French flair and a dash of sunny Mediterranean flavours. The importance we place on natural flavour is matched by our enthusiasm for design and exquisite presentation.

Good ethics have been at the core of our success as a caterer and wedding planner. We source our ingredients – as far as we possibly can – from ethical local suppliers, we use Fairtrade products, and also offer a range of ethical and organic wines. We train our staff to the highest standards, and they in turn will always serve your food and drinks with professionalism and good humour.

Stylish Design and Imaginative Themes from Vintage to the latest trends
As well as catering, Easy Gourmet can organise the venue, the design and printing of invitations and menus, the lighting, decorations, music … even fireworks. Whatever captures your imagination, we will try to make it a reality.

Hugely popular over this last year has been our retro-chic theme. We have developed a vintage menu and service complete with a range of vintage china. In classic relaxed British style, dishes such as homemade pie and mash, mini cakes with crème Anglaise, our homemade wedding cake and our British cheese tower have tapped into a widespread appetite for nostalgia.
