Frederick’s is a family-run restaurant in Angel, established since 1969. Somewhat changed over the past forty-four years, Frederick’s is a light, airy restaurant and bar with multiple spaces for dining, snacks, drinking, private parties and events. The restaurant is open throughout the day from noon to midnight with different menus available, on Saturdays we serve brunch from 10.30am.
The Club Room, recently opened, expands the bar in the evenings, and is available for light lunches and has proved very popular for private hire, whether for weddings, parties or corporate events.
Our team, many of whom have been with Frederick’s for a long time, put a lot of thought into all aspects of the restaurant; menus, wine list and the ambience to name a few. Do feel free to get in touch with your feedback or idea, it will be valued, and may get implemented.

WEDDINGS

Frederick’s has been hosting civil weddings since 1995 - we were the first venue in Islington to have a licence to do so.
We direct you first to the Islington Registrars who will help you with what you need to do to have a Wedding in Islington, and, at Fredericks. This is especially important if you live outside the borough, but not difficult to sort out.
So if you just want a wedding for you and two friends, then the Clarence Room would suit you very well. It can, actually, hold up to 30 guests.
In the main restaurant there have been wedding ceremonies for 70 guests and a seated lunch or dinner afterward for around 120 guests. Or you could simply have the Garden Room or the Club Room, for a smaller celebration. The ceremony can be held in any of the rooms.
