Edale Village Hall and Playing Fields are conveniently located at the centre of this picturesque Peak District village.

Edale is situated at the start of the Pennine Way, in the heart of the Peak District about half way between Sheffield and Manchester. The surrounding countryside offers a stunning location for a wide range of outdoor activities including walking, mountain biking, climbing and caving.

The hall makes an ideal base for organised groups and events and is regularly used as a control centre for fell races and sponsored walks. It is very suitable for visiting school groups to use for indoor activities (coach parking is available in the pay & display car park) and makes a good location for running courses.

There is free parking for up to 12 cars, substantial additional parking is available to hire, and adjacent is a pay & display car park. The hall and field are within easy walking distance of Edale train station and nearby is accommodation to suit all needs; camp sites, B&Bs, pubs and holiday cottages.

The hall has recently been refurbished and has good facilities including a kitchen, toilets, tables & chairs, and it now also has Internet access via WIFI available to all users of the hall. The capacity is for up to 150 people (100 seated). The playing field has a football pitch and a children’s play area.
