It was built with the collaboration of Barlborough Parish Council, Bolsover District Council, Derbyshire County Council and Waystones (the developers of the new estate). Barlborough Village Hall quickly established itself as one of the focal points of the village providing opportunities for people to attend classes, meetings and other forms of recreational and leisure activities. Barlborough Village Hall has disabled access, contains a meeting room, suitable for 30 people, a main hall that holds up to 220 people and an adjoining kitchen. The meeting room and main hall are available separately and both come with use of the kitchen.
It is an ideal location for engagements, weddings and christenings and is proving an increasingly popular venue for children’s parties. Rooms are available for hire by individuals, local groups, businesses or education providers.
In addition we have room hire available in Barlborough Little School. This is a smaller, more intimate venue, which can accommodate up to 65 people.
