Located only 15 minutes from Gatwick, Wakehurst offers over 500 stunning acres of conservation woodland and gardens managed by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and caters for a wide variety of events, celebrations, weddings and conferences,.
Smaller meetings and conferences can be catered for in the Gallery and Dining Room of the Elizabethan Mansion providing an atmosphere of opulence and luxury. With the benefit of a direct exit straight onto the Mansion Lawn, it lends itself to team building events as well as the natural benefit of being able to ‘recharging the batteries’ in the fresh countryside air at breaks and lunch.
Prince Charles described it as 'a gold reserve ... a place where this reserve currency, in this case life itself, is stored' and it is this truly unique setting that can be yours for larger meetings of up to 150 delegates providing all with an insight into the conservation work being carried out by RBG Kew at Wakehurst. Hidden in the depths are underground vaults filled with the world’s largest seed collection whilst the glass atrium offers a back drop of tropical succulents, cool dark granite and glass and is a distinctly contemporary option for both events and weddings.
