We welcome you to The Forge. We are a family owned business, run by myself Manny and my wife Aru Bedi. Call now to book for Christmas – 01825 840456.

Our restaurant
Our Restaurant offers an a la carte menu during lunch and evenings Monday to Saturday, as well as a carvery from 12pm to 7pm on Sunday. Our Place
The Forge is a charming country inn set in the heart of Sussex, is adjacent to unspoilt woodland and has a large car park. The location, close to the Sussex Downs and Ashdown Forest, makes it an ideal base for exploring some of the most beautiful countryside in Southern England, as well as the many local attractions and nearby coastal resort.

The Forge is an ideal base for visiting many of the historic and interesting sites in the area such as Hartfield, home of AA Milnes' famous character Winnie the Pooh. The beautiful gardens of Sheffield Park, Wakehurst, Nymans and Leonardslee are all within easy distance as is the attractive Sussex Coast.
