Weddings / Events
Newhouse has been hosting weddings for the last twenty five years. Only one booking per week is taken and when booking, you are encouraged to visit, bring friends and discuss arrangements as often as you wish. Three rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies accommodating, 10, 40 or 120 guests.
The ballroom with its elegant lighting and antique mirrors will seat a maximum of 102 guests for a wedding breakfast and smaller parties may consider the intimacy of the panelled dining room, seating 20. For parties wishing to dance in the evening, we provide a modern marquee connected to the house itself. Larger marquees can also be arranged for parties wishing a seated meal and whose numbers are in excess of 102 guests.
Newhouse provides a myriad of photographic opportunities. The oak staircase is prefect for family group shots and externally, the surrounding parkland provides endless choice. There is plenty of good quality local accommodation which we are always pleased to recommend.
