The hotel dates back to the 17th Century and is one of the smallest hotels in Rye with thirteen en suite bedrooms within the hotel, two Apartments and a two hundred year old Fisherman’s Cottage outside, our restaurant serves local fresh fish from Rye Bay and meat and produce from Romney Marsh, Rye and the surrounding areas.

Un-like most of the other hotels in Rye, we are not only situated in the heart of the Citadel along side cobbled streets and crooked cottages, but we also have outstanding views of Quayside, Romney Marsh, Camber Castle and the sea.

ACCOMMODATION

Each bedroom has been individually styled and furnished to a very high standard. Every room has a direct dial telephone, clock radio, flat screen colour TV with Digital Freeview, hair dryer and hot drinks tray, plus a few little niceties that usually meet with guests’ approval. Our Lounge, Bar, Restaurant and the majority of our bedrooms have WIFI for internet connection.

As every bedroom we have is different, we have provided pictures of every room with a description, what facilities it has, which floor it is on and what view it has from the hotel.

Rooms are available to check-in from 2 pm (Earlier on request and if available), check-out is by 11 am. The hotel and all rooms are Non Smoking.

We serve breakfast in our restaurant between 8:00 and 10:00 am during the week and weekends to maintain the unhurried feel of your stay. We offer a cold table consisting of cereals, fruit juices, yogurt and fresh cut fruit salad from the buffet, whilst from your table you can choose from our cooked to order breakfast menu.

Room Service is available from 2 pm until 10 pm so you may enjoy a light snack during the day or continental breakfast in bed.

We welcome children of any age and supply travel cots and baby listening devices if requested, we also offer high chairs if required for our restaurant.
