WEDDINGS
Lewes Castle is one of the few venues in the South East where you can exchange your vows in the open air.
Standing in the heart of the South Downs the Castle offers you and your guests a unique 1,000 year old venue with spectacular panoramic views of the Sussex countryside.
The traditional walk down the aisle is replaced by the zig zag steps to the Keep where your guests are seated in the Pleasure Garden. The ceremony takes place in the ancient archway of the West Tower.
After your marriage you can descend to the Gun Garden where many couples choose to arrange for their own food and drink to be served by our in house staff or outside caterers
CORPORATE EVENTS
The East Room and garden can be hired for private parties and corporate events.
