Your wedding day is one of the most important of life's milestones. Your families and friends will be sharing in your happiness and witnessing your expression of commitment to each other. It needs to be celebrated in a way that is true to your ideals and aspirations.

We believe that Florence House is the ideal place to host your special day because it has none of the limitations of a hotel. By offering sole exclusivity we can offer you the opportunity to make the house your own for the day and celebrate it in the way you want. There is a magical effect when you gather the ones you love together for a whole weekend.

We are licensed for weddings and civil partnerships. The main reception room which can seat up to 100 people for the ceremony. A light and sunny room it opens up onto the lawns with amazing views of Seaford Head. The front lawn is perfect for a larger marquee wedding reception against the backdrop of a stunning, undulating landscape.

Whilst retaining the intimacy of a family house we can offer comfortable accommodation for up to 30 guests. Including a separate self contained cottage for the bride and groom.

Whether you are looking to host a full wedding breakfast, champagne reception or buffet our chefs are happy to help you plan your menu from a range of tantalizing options. Wherever possible we endeavour to use locally sourced, organic produce.
