Built in 1704, originally as a wayside inn, the hotel has over the centuries become steeped in history and is recalled by many as being one of the most popular places to stay in Birmingham during the last few decades. Gradually improved and refurbished during the last two years the hotel is quickly gaining a good reputation and becoming a prominent and sought after hotel in Birmingham.

We want you to enjoy the occasion and every special moment, so that you can

This historic Victorian hotel set in its own gounds provides an idyllic & peaceful setting for your
wedding reception. The traditional hotel, warm hospitality, superb food from locally sourced produce &
the “Country House in the city” setting combine to make the Plough & Harrow Hotel an extremely
popular wedding venue in Birmingham.

The elegant Terrace Room, with a balcony and patio overlooking the garden, can comfortably hold up to
100 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 150 for the evening reception.
The first floor Calthorpe Suite is a modern function room with large windows overlooking the garden
and can hold up to 80 guests for the wedding breakfast and 120 for an evening reception.

There is a varied choice of menus and packages available for weddings and our Events manager
will be delighted to arrange a time to meet with you and discuss your individual requirements in detail,
confirm the availability of dates and provide you with a full breakdown of the
costs & the deposit required to confirm your booking.
