WEDDINGS

We have three areas licensed for marriage and civil partnership ceremonies*: the intimate Library can seat up to 48 guests while the larger Terrace Room with French doors on to the formal gardens seats up to one hundred. Ceremonies can also take place outside on the lawn with guests seated in front of the Victorian style summerhouse where the register is signed.
Throughout the year and whatever the season, the house and gardens provide a beautiful setting with flexible indoor spaces as a contingency for less than perfect weather.

Horsted Place is available for the exclusive use of the wedding party which means you have your own fully staffed country house and garden for the day, including the bedrooms. We can only offer music and dancing when exclusive use of the house is taken.

CONFERENCES

To hold staff meetings off-site can be both motivational and effective; not only can delegates focus on topics and tasks without interruption but they also appreciate the opportunity to do so in a comfortable and dedicated environment. Horsted Place is an accessible and flexible venue for meetings, conferences and corporate events, attended on a daily or residential basis.
The Morning Room and the Library are perfect for boardroom style meetings and private dining whilst the Terrace Room with its French doors on to the garden is an outstanding choice for larger groups or theatre-style presentations.
Horsted Place is 45 minutes from Gatwick Airport and 90 minutes from Central London. There is a heli-pad. For total privacy the hotel, with all 20 double rooms and suites, is available on an exclusive use of house basis.
