Set on the banks of the Cuckmere River at the foot of the South Downs National Park, our idyllic position offers exhilarating contrasts for short break in Sussex; enjoy the bustle of Alfriston Village High Street or Dinner alfresco on a Summer's evening, relax with afternoon tea in our Victorian gardens or supper before a crackling log fire.
We also pride ourselves on exquisite weddings, well organised conferences and a diary full of events.
With 36 en suite bedrooms we make the perfect venue for weddings, conferences, functions, parties, or simply a night away.
WEDDINGS
Exchange your vows in the wedding garden and have photos taken on our pretty riverside bridge, whilst guests enjoy drinks and croquet on the lawn. For winter weddings, enjoy roaring log fires and a candlelit wedding breakfast.
We only host one wedding per day so you can be assured of our very best and
personal attention.
CONFERENCES
Deans Place is ideally located between Eastbourne and Brighton, with free onsite parking for 100 cars and 2 conference rooms, with facilities from 2 delegates to 160. We also offer complimentary Wifi as well as fantastic cuisine and top quality, professional service.
CHRISTMAS
Our roaring fires, cosy bar, elegant restaurant and beautiful grounds really set the scene for a Christmas getaway. Stay over the festive period or dine with us throughout December with our festive afternoon tea, lunch and dinner menus.
