The Association was launched in 1981 with the intention of making a wider use of what had previously been the Church Hall. Some work was carried out on the building at that time but in more recent time there was a major refurbishment and improvement work carried out and the building developed into what you see today.
This major redevelopment has been the catalyst for the improvements to the services that we can now provide.
The Association is run by Committee of volunteers with the addition of two paid members of staff .
