The Boathouse Restaurant description
Pub / Restaurant
Medium (1-150)
Weddings / Events
In 1419 Sir Ralph Bracebridge dammed Ebrook to form Bracebridge Pool; on the banks of which now lies the Boathouse Restaurant. Originally built as a hunting lodge within deer enclosures belonging to the Earl of Warwick, it is reputed that Henry VIII stayed and hunted from here. It was rebuilt in the 19th Century in the romantic gothic style the Boathouse is found in today.
The Boathouse at Bracebridge offers modern British brasserie and bistro cooking with spectacular views across Sutton Park and Bracebridge Pool. The dining room is a tasteful mix of the old and the new; blonde wooden floors, with long refectory tables, contemporary canvas art and soft lighting. This is the backdrop for dining in Sutton Coldfield at its best.
You can enjoy a la carte dining or a table d’hote fixed menu, at lunch or dinner, six days a week with a traditional 3 course Luncheon being served on a Sunday.
