Hospitality

The Downey Suite
Our largest function room, The Downey Suite, is suitable for large gatherings and events, seating up to 300 people theatre style. The room provides an ideal space for conferences, exhibitions and trade shows, as well as the perfect setting for evening functions, dinner dances and weddings.

Self-contained, with its own bar and toilets, this room benefits from air-conditioning and can be fitted out with a wide range of audio visual equipment.

Essentially, the room acts as a blank canvas and can be dressed and decorated to suit your specific requirements. And for even larger events, the room capacity can be increased with an adjoining marquee, or used in conjunction with the adjacent Ian Brackenbury Lounge.

The Ian Brackenbury Suite
The Ian Brackenbury Suite represents the club’s focal point, incorporating the main bar and a magnificent and original wood-burning fireplace. It is also used to display Esher Rugby’s history and a selection of silverware and memorabilia.

Boasting bright natural daylight and air-conditioning, as well as a great view of the 1st XV pitch, this room conveniently opens out to a covered pitch-side patio area, ideal for entertaining.

Amongst its uses, this room is best suited for business events, social functions and parties.

The Anna Jones Suite
The Anna Jones Suite is perfect for smaller meetings, seminars and training courses and on match days provides private hospitality for sponsors and guests. It features a pitch-side view, again with direct access to our covered outside patio area as well as its own self-contained bar.

With five full-size pitches and surrounding outside areas totalling 23 acres Esher Rugby is ideal for a variety of team-building and outdoor activities.

From multi-activity corporate events to family fun days with inflatables, fairground rides and stalls, we can help you deliver an experience to remember. In addition, we can arrange on-site marquees, for a completely outdoor event, or combine these with our clubhouse function rooms and facilities, for a more integrated occasion.

All of our function rooms can be fully equipped with professional audio-visual equipment, provided by Showvision Event Solutions.



Catering

Esher Rugby prides itself on the quality of catering which supports any function, party or event.

Our in-house chefs can build a variety of food options to suit any requirements, from a simple finger buffet, through to a working lunch or silver-service 3-course meal.

In addition, outside events can feature a fantastic range of BBQ menus or alternatively, kick off your business meeting with either a Continental or sumptuous cooked breakfast.
