For weddings, overlooking the impressive waterfront, the Grade II listed Quayside Exchange combines history with elegance to create the perfect venue for your special day. We are fully licensed for Civil Ceremonies for up to 300 guests in three of our function suites: the historic Vaulted Suite with adjoining river terrace; our contemporary Main Bar; and the elegant Grand Room with adjoining bars.

The Grand Room is the largest of the suites with its elegant ambiance, large Georgian windows and boasts sophistication, with beautiful views over the River Wear.
Beautiful Vaulted Suite with original exposed brick walls, crystal chandeliers, concealed lighting, really does give the feel of a intimate yet cosy dining space, it also leads straight onto a private riverside terrace. This is the perfect suite to wow your guests.
