The Mill Sudbury is nestled away in the Suffolk countryside, located in a breath taking location on the banks or the river stour, with magnificent meadow views. Originally a working water mill, this converted historic building now boasts a completely refurbished contemporary interior. The imposing façade and stunning surrounding position offers a real wow factor.
Sudbury is a thriving historic market town bordered by water meadows with superb riverside walks. Close by is the village of Long Melford famous for its antique shops and Lavenham, the ancient wool town is six miles away. Sudbury was home to England’s most famous portrait artist, Thomas Gainsborough and within a few minutes walk of the hotel you will find yourself indulged in the painters, most valuable, precious work.
