Our outstanding Bistro style restaurant can comfortably seat 150 diners and our Sunday Carvery has proven extremely popular with a regular clientele of repeat customers.

Our Beautiful Grade II Listed Building is the perfect setting for Civil Ceremonies, Wedding Receptions, Christenings and Parties and we are a popular choice for Conferences and Meetings being able to cater for up to 200 delegates in a choice of different Suites.

WEDDINGS

Blackburn House, Boughton Pumping Station is a stunning Grade II Listed Building on the edge of Sherwood Forest and in the immediate vicinity of Mansfield, Newark, Worksop and Retford. We specialise in both Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions.

We offer two different suites to create The Perfect Ceremony. The Severn Trent Suite accommodates up to 40 guests for Civil Ceremonies and is ideal for a more intimate service. We also offer the Blackburn Suite which can comfortably accommodate up to 200 guests for your Ceremony or Wedding Breakfast and is ideal for evening entertainment for up to 200 guests with its own private bar and dance floor. We can adapt the layout to set the theme and bring your dream wedding to life.

Blackburn House stands in 4 acres of countryside, which enables our beautiful woodland gardens to hold a 300 seater Marquee. We also own our own Hog Roast which can cater for 200 people.

Conveniently located close to the A1 & M1, Blackburn House has excellent road, rail and airport links including Retford (Gamston) and Doncaster. We are centrally located as a conference venue in the immediate vicinity of Newark, Retford, Worksop and Mansfield and can cater for up to 200 delegates.
