Langar Hall was the first venue in Nottinghamshire to be licensed for Civil weddings and since 1995 we
have specialized in small informal weddings and partnerships for up to 50 guests with exclusive use of the
house during the day between 11am – 5pm.
House party weddings when booking 12 bedrooms allow you & your guests to party into the night and enjoy
a leisurely breakfast before leaving in the morning.
For larger weddings of 80-120 we use a marquee on the lawn attached to the house.
We are happy to host receptions following services in church or Registry Office.
St Andrew’s Church close by the house will be pleased to follow your civil ceremony with a blessing.
Couples wishing to be married here should first check with the Superintendent Registrar that their preferred
date is available.

DAY TIME WEDDINGS

Held between 11am-5pm with exclusive use of the house during the day.
The marriage takes place in the Indian room with time for photographs in the garden before the wedding
lunch in the main dining hall.
Weddings of 4-20 guests. The marriage is held in the main dining hall followed by the wedding breakfast in
the Indian room.
Estimated cost for 20 guests negotiable according to time and availability.
HOUSE PARTY WEDDINGS & PARTIES for a minimum of 40 guests excluding Saturdays.
Estimated cost for 50 guests and 10 rooms for one night £7,750
Saturdays by special arrangement £10,000
We close the hotel & restaurant from noon on the day until noon the following day to give you the full use of
Langar Hall for the duration of your stay. These
weddings or parties enjoy the opportunity to stay overnight
in the hotel and finish the occasion with a family breakfast in the morning after a night of music and dancing.
You may like to book rooms for the previous night and enjoy a family dinner in one of our private dining
rooms. The next morning the bride and her bridesmaids have a large room to dress in time for an afternoon
ceremony
