Swinfen Hall Hotel is a beautiful country house hotel set in 100 acres of park land incorporating formal gardens, a private deer park, wild hay meadows and woodland. Although Swinfen Hall has been described as 'an architectural gem' and is blessed with a wealth of historic features, we also embrace the creature comforts of the here and now. Flatscreen TVs, DVD players, IPOD docking stations and free wi-fi are standard in all our bedrooms alongside bathrobes, mineral water, a good selection of guest amenities and a well-stocked hospitality tray. In addition to our AA 2-rosette Four Seasons restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner, we have a Bar and Terrace menu for light snacks and offer a delicious traditional Afternoon Tea.

Swinfen Hall was built in 1755 by Benjamin Wyatt for a family of three and 55 servants. No expense was spared in the construction and although historians may view it as a magnificent example of Georgian architecture, we would simply describe it as the most beautiful wedding venue in Staffordshire and the West Midlands.

During the summer months a Champagne reception can be held on the terrace overlooking the gardens and ornamental ponds with rolling views of our private deer park and the lake beyond. This picturesque setting makes a lovely backdrop for photographs and a stunning start to your special day.

Winter weddings also have their charm, with soft candlelight, glittering chandeliers and log fires crackling in the grates. During December, the hotel is swathed in festive Victorian garlands and a 20-foot Christmas tree lights up the ballroom.
The Hotel is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies, civil partnerships and renewal of vows, thus providing a complete service. There are a variety of rooms available for the wedding breakfast from a private dining room for 10-20 guests to the ballroom which will comfortably seat 50-110 guests.
