Stuart House is an independently owned and operated hotel, bar and restaurant, hidden in the centre of the small medieval market town and historic port of King's Lynn. The original building dates back to Victorian times when it was the private residence of a prominent King's Lynn Businessman.
Numerous additions have been made
since this time and the hotel now offers 18 bedrooms on 2 floors. All individually styled, comfortable and well equipped.
Downstairs there are two pleasant reception areas, a popular bar with a cosy open fire, (listed in the CAMRA 'Good Beer Guide') and the Stuart Restaurant where the emphasis is on quality and value.
Stuart House really is an Oasis quietly situated in its own grounds just a few minutes walk from the river and centre of King’s Lynn, through ‘The Walks’, an extensive and attractive park and is equally ideal for both business and leisure.
WEDDINGS
Whether you want your wedding to be a small family gathering or a larger reception and evening function, the Stuart House is the ideal wedding venue. We will be delighted to make it a day to remember.
Stuart House wedding venue has been approved for Civil Marriage ceremonies and can accommodate small and medium sized weddings up to 50 people.
If you wish to have a Civil Ceremony, you will need to contact the Superintendent Registrar at the Kings Lynn Register office (Telephone: 01553 669251) to check on their availability.
A wedding breakfast and reception requires a great deal of thought, care and hard work. You can depend on our professional, friendly team to ensure the day runs smoothly.
We will help you with your choice of menus for your wedding breakfast, wines, eating arrangements, entertainment and any special requirements you have in mind.
Our restaurant can accommodate fifty people for a ‘sit down’ meal or sixty for a buffet.
Our professional wedding catering team boasts many years of experience and pride themselves on their personal attention and service.
For your evening function, we can arrange entertainment in the form of a disco or small group.
The restaurant, bar and adjoining meeting room can accommodate up to eighty people and has a small dance floor.
Room discounts are available for Wedding guests who would like to stay.
Outside bars and catering can also be provided.

CONFERENCES
We are able to cater for small conferences, 'off site' meetings, training days and seminars in our two air conditioned rooms available.
Two of the three King's Lynn based Rotary clubs meet weekly in the restaurant. The King's Lynn Vancouver Round Table and many smaller groups and societies regularly use our facilities.
We can accommodate up to:
Fifty people (Theatre style)
Thirty people (Board room style)

TV and video
Flip charts
Wi-fi internet access
Rates
Room charges very depending on length of time of your meeting but as an example;
Basic guide for:
Small meeting room £100 per day/£75 per half day
Larger meeting room £200 per day/£120 per half day
Tea and coffee are available are £1.50 per person per serving.
Various meal types can be provided.
Prices quoted are subject to VAT, charged at the standard rate.
