You will be captivated by the impressive views from the castle of the beautiful Northumberland coastline. The South-West Tower is currently undergoing refurbishment which will provide exclusive access to two rooms in which you can get ready for your big day. The views are incredible and what better way to begin a new chapter of your life as a real Princess in a real castle!

We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships in in the grandeur of the King's Hall, rebuilt as the castle's centrepiece by Lord Armstrong in the 19th century. We can also hold smaller, more intimate ceremonies in The Keep.
With rich teak panelled walls, the King’s Hall is capped with an ornate ceiling and overlooked by a beautiful stained glass window. Ceremonies take place on the Cross Hall, crowned by light from the soaring windows and surrounded by works of art. The Hall seats up to 150 guests.

The King of Castles is one of the most beautiful and awe-inspiring castles in the country.Raise a glass on The Battery Terrace with panoramic views towards the Farne Islands and Holy Island or step inside the castle's former Medieval Kitchen to enjoy drinks and canapes. Castle Green provides a convenient site for a marquee with the castle providing a spectacular backdrop.
