The picturesque setting of The Boat Inn makes it a firm favourite for wedding receptions (and anniversary celebrations!)

We are pleased to welcome up to 80 guests seated with a formal meal, 100 guests for an informal finger buffet and up to 120 for an evening of entertainment with disco or small group and buffet. Similarly we are able to fill the room without looking lost with a small group such as 20 persons by use of a different table layout. If the restaurant is not required for the evening we can arrange for you to continue with or without additional guests in our downstairs lounge/bistro area.

In addition to the main reception we can arrange a boat trip on the canal for your day time guests and an evening function to include a disco or live group and buffet if so desired.
