Brockholes is a new kind of nature reserve, an unreserved reserve owned and managed by The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside.
There's lots to see and do at Brockholes, you can hunt out our floating Visitor Village with a restaurant, shops and Welcome Centre or explore our family-friendly hides, walking trails and play area.

Set within a 250 acre nature reserve and featuring a unique floating venue, Brockholes offers a memorable setting for your wedding.
Our beautiful nature reserve provides a stunning back-drop for your photographs and presents a romantic scene as the sun sets over the lake. Floor to ceiling windows provide panoramic views across the lake, whilst the picturesque outdoor area offers guests an impressive location for drinks and canapés.
