A building which is architecturally stunning and steeped in history? Few venues match the character and charm of Preston Masonic Hall. Licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies it is the perfect choice for an unforgettable reception or party. Whether you are planning a large wedding or a smaller celebration, the building has a selection of superb dining and function rooms to suit all needs and budgets. At the heart of the hall is a magnificent period ballroom. The plaster ceilings, chandeliers and art deco wall lamps whisper the elegance of a bygone time. The ballroom is perfect for a themed 1930s, 1940s or a 1950s wedding but the styling is such that it doesn’t overwhelm any celebration. Just imagine your own beautiful ballroom filled with guests sharing your special day!

The ballroom and airy banqueting suite, with a separate bar area and small lounge, is licensed for up to 200 guests. There are two further dining/ function rooms on the ground floor; the Tuscan Room with its panelled walls, chandeliers and a dance floor, and the intimate Doric Lounge with its own bar. Take the grand staircase and more surprises await you on the first floor. The spacious Corinthian Room and the smaller Ionic Room are perfect for formal dining, the latter is licensed for weddings.

There is also a first floor bar lounge. The variety of function rooms, bars and meeting rooms allows Preston Masonic Hall to offer flexible and attractive deals. A number of different options allow for any size of celebration.

We have set wedding menu prices as a guide, although we will work with any budget to ensure you have a wonderful time. Packages can include a wedding limousine or anything else you require. Preston Masonic Hall was built around an old chapel dating back to the mid-1800s and opened in 1944. While some rooms are for Freemasons only, most of the building is available for public use. Lots of people don’t know Preston Masonic Hall is here let alone realise what a lovely building it is and that it is here to be used and enjoyed!

eston Masonic Hall has a selection of conference suites holding anything from 12 to 200 delegates which enable us to provide exactly what our clients require.

We're the city centre, within easy reach of mainline rail networks and our local bus station, and there is also ample parking space nearby.

If you're planning to hold interviews, a conference, open day or product launch we can offer a variety of suites and catering to suit your requirements, and you will be pleasantly surprised by our more than reasonable rates - many of the services you pay extra for elsewhere are provided free of charge at Preston Masonic Hall.
