Set amongst the backdrop of the River Wyre, which runs beside historic Mains Hall, this exquisite Great Hall boasts huge timber framed ceilings, a magnificent stone fireplace of grand proportion, sumptuously rich tapestries and huge medieval ironwork chandeliers.
The beautiful landscaped gardens, walnut trees, Tudor knot garden and topiary, all contained behind an original Victorian walled garden, offer numerous wedding photographic opportunities.

The Great Hall has been approved as a venue for marriages as an alternative to a Church or Registry Office under Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949, and for Civil Partnerships under Section 6 (3A)(a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
The Lancashire North Ceremonies Officer is based at the Lancaster Registration Office and deals with marriage ceremonies in Lancaster, Lune Valley and Wyre.
