An idyllic Leicestershire wedding venue
Halstead House is an elegant Georgian ironstone-built house, home to its present owner since 1964. Its country gardens provide a wonderful backdrop for wedding photographs and a tranquil atmosphere for wedding guests.
There are two rooms available for wedding receptions and parties, The Opera House which can seat 150 people and the 'Quail Shed' suitable for more intimate wedding parties (seating up to 70 for a civil ceremony.) Both rooms are specifically licensed for civil ceremonies and more information regarding the details of holding a civil ceremony at Halstead House are available on request
The Opera House is a converted barn seating over 150 people for a civil ceremony and wedding breakfast.
There is ample room for dancing and live entertainment, with french windows overlooking the rolling countryside. Entrance to the barn is through a carefully preserved 19th Century wind engine.
