The hotel is one of the oldest original coaching inns on the Isle of Wight and has been carefully refurbished to retain much of its charm and atmosphere.
Our comfortable Bar and Lounge, Conservatory and Patio Beer Garden, and an air conditioned Restaurant and Conference suite provide Islanders and visitors alike with a relaxing venue for a drink or delicious meal during a short stay or longer break. This delightful historic Isle of Wight hotel, has excellent facilities and can cater for all occasions.
Parties of up to 100 plus people can be accommodated in our Restaurant, and the Dutch Room is ideal for the smaller gatherings of 30 - 40 people. The Isle of Wight is easily accessed from the south coast of England by frequent hovercraft and ferry services from Southsea, Portsmouth, Southampton and Lymington. The crossing takes between 10 and 45 minutes depending on the chosen service port (see our Location page for full travel details).
