St Michaels Manor Hotel description
The original house dates back over 500 years and was converted into a hotel in the early 1960s by the Newling Ward family. They still remain as private owners and managers, which gives the hotel its unique flavour.
The 30 bedrooms are individually styled with a blend of classical and contemporary décor to create a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere. This welcoming feel is continued through to the lounge, bar, function rooms and highly-acclaimed orangery-style Lake Restaurant. All public rooms, along with many of the bedrooms, have excellent views of the garden and lake.
Non-residents can also enjoy the Lake Restaurant, which offers a wide choice of dining options from full breakfast through afternoon teas to dinner, as well as a bar menu. All of which can be taken on the terrace, in the garden or lakeside.
St Michael's Manor is the perfect romantic setting. The orangery, two private function rooms, lounge, bar, terrace and magnificent gardens with a lake combine to provide the ideal location for your special day.
The hotel has experience of hosting weddings since 1965 and our dedicated team will guide you through every stage of your planning and right through the day itself.
We will ensure that one of the most important events in your lives is tailored to your individual requirements so that you and your guests can relax and enjoy the most memorable occasion.
The hotel is the ideal venue for conferences and meetings with a fantastic location only 20 minutes from London and close to the M25. You will find full modern facilities and a selection of rooms accommodating up to 35 delegates.
The Cedar Suite: suitable for up to 35 delegates. This elegant suite has high ceilings, large windows and is located next to our reception and lounge areas. It benefits from air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi and a 50 inch plasma screen.
The Oak Lounge: suitable for up to 15 delegates. This is an intimate oak paneled room with high ceilings, complimentary WiFi and a 32" plasma screen. It can also be used as a break-out room and is ideally located on the ground floor next to our main Reception, lounge and bar areas.
