Located opposite the church in Sparsholt, Griffin Memorial Hall is a recently refurbished attractive Victorian school house with wooden floor and beamed ceiling. The main hall can be curtained into a larger and a smaller area. A generous entrance lobby leads to a new well-equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, ‘fridge, and a good selection of crockery and cutlery, and a hatch to the hall, and to newly built toilets, including disabled with baby-changing facility.
There is disabled access to all areas.
The hall is also equipped with tables and chairs sufficient to seat 60 for a meal, and has an entertainments licence.
This is an attractive venue for parties, meetings and exhibitions, in the heart of a lovely spring-line village close to the Ridgeway, and just 4 miles west of Wantage on the B4507 (on the way to Uffington White Horse).
