Winchester’s medieval Great Hall, home to the world-famous Round Table, is a new wedding venue in the heart of the historic city of Winchester in central Hampshire.
The Great Hall, where the King used to dine, is now the only remaining building of Winchester Castle. The Hall houses the legendary Round Table – a wonderful symbol for marriage because it was designed so that all were equal and no-one took precedence over another.
These days you don't need to be a Royal to hold your wedding in this utterly unique and historic Hall, but we will treat you like one.
We offer a range of ceremony packages and promise that you and your guests will have an unforgettable experience. Your guests will have exclusive use of the Hall and the intimate and beautiful Queen Eleanor’s Garden – an enchanting background for your photographs. The public courtyard in front of the Hall would also be a stunning setting for photographs taken against the backdrop of the medieval stonework.
