Sway Manor Hotel and Restaurant description
Hotel / Conference Centre
Medium (1-150)
Weddings / Events
The Manor at Sway is situated in the heart of the new forest and boasts large gardens, private woodland and its own swimming pool making it an exceptional place for a relaxing stay. The restaurant serves a seasonal menu using only locally based suppliers.
The village of Sway is perfectly located just a few miles from the busy areas of Brockenhurst and Lyndhurst, but just out of the way enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. Sway has a number of shops and pubs and in the summer hosts a carnival and a number of other events.
The Manor was built in 1906 by Mr Moser who was a benefactor of the village and also built the post office. Originally concieved as a Manor house set on 25 acres it was converted to a hotel in the 1960s. The house has many interesting old features including stained glass windows, high ceilings, light and airy spaces and the light well at the top of the building.
Our bedrooms retain an old world charm with modern amenities. A number of our rooms have views of the gardens and the woodlands beyond. All are ensuite.
Whether you are in the new forest on holiday or for business The Manor is a great place to relax and unwind. Our staff are here to make sure you have an unforgetable stay.
