Chapel Gate is a beautiful sports and hospitality venue located in a rural setting of 65 acres, next to Bournemouth Airport. The bars and events are operated by Kingsgate Kitchen, who specialise in corporate and private events, while the sports activities are managed by Bournemouth University, Community Business, so your event is in safe hands.
Chapel Gate benefits from three event spaces which can accommodate Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Christening parties, Corporate Events, Away Days and Wakes.
Main bar
With its vaulted ceiling and beautiful views across the grounds, our Main bar is a great social space.
Available to hire for your wedding reception (or other social occasions), it can comfortably seat up to 100 people for a sit-down meal and can be configured how you wish.
If you are looking for more space, our Main bar and Garden room can be connected to create an L-shaped room, seating up to 180 people for a sit-down meal.
Garden room
Running adjacent to the Main bar is our Garden room and, as the name suggests, seamlessly links to our garden.
Ideal for any social or corporate event, the Garden room also has its own bar and can seat up to 80 people for a sit-down meal.
The Retreat
The Retreat is self-contained and therefore more suited to corporate events and meetings, seating up to 24 people, serving alcohol and premium coffee and quality dishes.
Alfresco Dining
All three rooms have patios, terrace or garden space so are ideally suited for BBQ’s, Hog Roasts, or Paella Parties.
