The building of the hall commenced in 1909 and was funded by public subscription and gifted land. The construction is of the high standard expected of the day, of generous proportions with large windows and high ceilings affording plenty of light. The main hall has many uses. It has a polished wood sprung floor and boasts a main stage suitable for theatre productions and concerts.
The premises are equipped to cater for functions of up to 100 seated dining guests and 150 when the stage is utilised for stage productions or similar.
The floor is marked out for a badminton court and badminton posts are available.
A bowls short mat is available, with woods provided by the players.
A staffed licensed bar can be made available on request. The Club Room is centrally heated giving a warm ambience to the room during the winter months.
Chairs and tables are also available.
There is a serving hatch between the Club Room and the Kitchen. Facilities in the kitchen include a six burner commercial cooker, warming oven, microwave and fridge. Hot water for beverages, crockery and cutlery.
