A superb venue for weddings, conferences, seminars, team building, away days and special events, Escot House is set in 250 acres of tranquil parkland not far from Exeter and just minutes from the A30. The venue is privately-owned by members of the Kennaway family, who have been in residence since 1794. Lucy Kennaway heads up the experienced management team, providing wedding and event organisation and in-house catering with professional efficiency. A friendly yet efficient venue, Escot offers a personal, flexible service and excellent value for money.

Weddings
Escot House offers a delightful backdrop for your wedding photographs. The Kennaways have been organising weddings and events for over twenty years and offer as much support as needed. Our wedding catering (and all catering) is home-cooked on the premises using locally sourced ingredients, guaranteeing taste and flavour. We cater for all diets including vegetarians, vegans and guests with allergies.
Escot can host small, intimate weddings or larger celebrations with seating for up to 120 in the house or 180 using a marquee. As only up to twenty weddings are booked each year, Escot weddings are always given special attention, and exclusive use of the house and its facilities.

Conferences and Meeting Facilities
Escot House boasts three stunning conference rooms bursting with character and overlooking the parkland. Each room enjoys an abundance of natural light, and two open out on the terrace and lawns overlooking the lake. Rooms can be configured to provide seating for 80 theatre style and 30 boardroom style, and we can supply all conference equipment required. Breakout space is available for small workshops or syndicate exercises. If you prefer to keep your meeting confidential, Escot House can be booked on an exclusive basis. As we are a standalone venue you can be confident that the content of your conference will be totally private. All catering is in-house and based around fresh ingredients and local suppliers. As Escot is a private venue, we have total flexibility for any dietary requirements. Catering is competitively priced, reflecting our aim to provide a cost-effective venue.

Away Days
Escot House is an ideal location for corporate away days, with many fun and team building activities available on site. We will work with you to build the perfect day of activities so you can meet your specific aims, from encouraging your group to get to know each other better, getting them to work together or simply giving everyone the opportunity for downtime. Activities include 4X4 driving on our own custom-built course, a Segway experience, archery and laser-tag. We also offer more relaxed options including a forest school, bushcraft skills and letterboxing, all onsite in Escot Park. As well as our onsite activities, we work with local suppliers to offer a wide range of alternative options to suit both your team and your budget. Away day lunches can be provided buffet-style or seated, with meal choices including picnics, hog roasts or barbeques.

Special Events
For special events, the house with its gardens and parkland provide outstanding opportunities for every kind of special event, from private parties and product launches to music festivals, charity balls and dinners. The raised lawn and terrace offer a unique setting for a drinks reception with a string quartet, as well as space for a marquee to be set up. The terrace offers a superb vantage point for spectacular events including fireworks, concerts and outdoor theatre.
