A lovely reminder of our Spring Eco-Luxe shoot captured by the lovely Emma of Freckle Photography featured this week by another lovely Emma, this time of Coco Wedding Venues. With beautiful English grown flowers supplied and arranged by the talented Claire of The Flower Field, THE most fab updo by the great team at The Hair Lounge Tavistock, gorgeous make up by Bridgette from Wedding Hair and MakeUp, delicious cakes by Marianne of Dazzlicious Cakes with Katharine Hannah and her younger sister as models and Tally our neighbour’s horse managed beautifully on the day by her young owner Leonie. The 18th century honeymoon cottage has just been fully refurbished. This self-contained detached stone cottage is a luxurious space for one or both of you to stay the night before the wedding and get ready on the morning of the wedding and for you both to stay the night of the wedding. The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with seating and dining on the ground floor and upstairs a large open plan living/dressing space with a mini beauty salon area for hair and make up, a dressing area with large mirror all under a vaulted beamed ceiling with wood burning stove so that the wedding party can be together talking, relaxing and getting ready either with professional hair and make up people or DIY. The main bedroom has a king size bed and looks out onto its own private first floor deck with folding doors providing views over the gardens. The deck has comfortable chairs and a dining area for having breakfast outside and also its own BBQ. The main bedroom has a luxurious ensuite bathroom with a freestanding bath, a wet room shower, double basins with marble counters, all set off with an amazing chandelier, the perfect place for a relaxing and luxurious soak the day before or the day after the wedding.

The annexe is a self-contained building with a double bedroom and ensuite. It has been completely refurbished in a contemporary rustic style with under floor heating and slate flooring, oak beams and painted in muted colours. The annexe is furnished with linen curtains and blinds and 100% linen bedlinen with silk cushions and alpaca throws.
