GENERAL INFORMATION

DOGS are welcome on leads.
Group rates available for parties of 10 or more.
Ample FREE parking for cars and coaches, usual courtesies extended to coach drivers.
Toilets: disabled and baby change facilities available at the Colonial Restaurant.
Approximately 50% of the Garden is accessible to disabled visitors, some of the gravel paths are difficult to negotiate. There is ramp access to the restaurant.

WEDDINGS

The Gardens offer a unique, stunning setting for your special day and a spectacular backdrop for your photographs. From a small intimate service and reception to a large event – all can be arranged to the highest standard.The Oak Pavilion, with its elevated position and ‘aisle-like’ access walkway is the perfect place for the ceremony. There are other unusual buildings within the Gardens, such as the Summer House, that are also fully licensed.Smaller intimate receptions can be catered for in the Colonial Restaurant after 6.00p.m (this may be flexible) until 11.30pm. Larger receptions and/or evening parties can be arranged on the West Lawn – the ideal location for a marquee. Whatever the case, guests can have exclusive use of the 30 acre Gardens after 5.00pm Please note that the Gardens are open to the public from 10.00am until 5.00pm and during this time the designated wedding areas will be roped off.

All the staff have been brilliant, the weather held out for us, the setting was stunning, food was lovely and all our guests commented on the wonderful venue.
